UK Visas and Immigration has announced the reopening of selected UK visa application centres in Indian cities from July 6, 2020.
The cities where the service will RESUME ARE AS FOLLOWING
- Jalandhar
- Ahmedabad
- Bengaluru (Global Tech Park)
- Mumbai
- Chennai,
- Chandigarh
- Cochin
- Hyderabad
- New Delhi and
- Pune.
Under new proposals that will come into effect in 2021, an unlimited number of highly-skilled Indian workers will be able to migrate to the UK. A senior British minister on Wednesday stated that in the new system the country will be open to the “best and brightest” from India.
The UK also wants to connect with India as the New Delhi has with France, treating each other’s academic degrees as equivalent for higher studies and jobs, sources said.
VFS Global UK said in a statement, “Customers who were unable to attend an earlier appointment, will be able to log into their account to book a new appointment. Customers who have completed their application on GOV.UK, but didn’t previously book an appointment at the visa application centre, can do so from today.”
Where the lockdown has been extended, that customers from cities are advised to refer VFS Global UK for updates…
Owing to the ongoing restrictions still in place, global services such as super priority visa, priority visa service (visit), priority visa for settlement or migration service, and walk-in services will be unavailable.
